The Fremont Hills Stables riding program, focuses on the
fundamentals of riding as well as establishing strong horsemanship
skills in a safe, fun, low pressure atmosphere.
In addition to riding, students are taught how to safely handle a
horse, proper grooming techniques, care and maintenance of tack, and
the unique characteristics of the horse.
All of the lessons are given on school horses, which are owned by
the stable and have been carefully selected for the program. The lesson
program is not competitive; there is no pressure to show. The student is free to learn at his or her own pace,
and the student's progress is largely dependent on his or her motivation
to advance. Lessons are available for anyone
six years of age or older.
Lesson formats:
30 minute private/semi-private lesson (1-2 students)
