2012 Fremont Hills Horsemanship Day Camp



The 2012 Horsemanship Day Camps are returning this summer! Campers are exposed to a variety of horse activities including English riding, grooming, horse care, crafts and stable care. Camps are open to children ages 6 - 16, and are designed for different levels of riding experience. All camps are fully staffed with an experienced trainer and assistants. Fremont Hills Country Club member enrollment begins on January 1, 2012. Non-member enrollment begins on January 15, 2012.
To enroll, please fill out the 2012 Enrollment Form and Release Form. Mail or deliver both forms to Fremont Hills Stables, 26941 Purissima Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Sessions fill quickly so be sure to enroll early. You will receive a call confirming your enrollment within a week of receipt of payment and the completed enrollment form.
Session Fees
Sessions 1-3: Non-Members $315, Members $295 (per session)
Sessions 4-6: Non-Members $495, Members $465 (per session)
There are 6 camp sessions from 1:00pm - 5:00pm for either 5 days or 8 days. (Camp will meet from 8:30-12:30 on 4th of July only)
Session 1 (15 spots availble)
June 11-15 (5 day camp)
Beginner Camp - Designed for those with little to no experience riding.
Session 2 (14 spots available)
June 18-22 (5 day camp)
Beginner Camp - 5 days. Designed for those with little to no experience riding.
Session 3 (7 spots available)
June 25-29 (5 day camp)
Beginner Camp - 5 days. Designed for those with little to no experience riding.
Session 4 (15 spots availble)
July 3-6, 10-13 (8 day camp) *We will be meeting from8:30-12:30 on Wednesday July 4th.
Intermediate Camp I - Students should be comfortable walking, trotting and cantering. Rudimentary jumping is taught in this session.
Session 5 (15 spots availble)
July 17-20, 24-27 (8 day camp)
Intermediate Camp II - Students should be comfortable walking, trotting cantering, and trotting over small jumps.
Session 6 (13 spots available)
July 31-August 3, 7-10 (8 day camp)
Advanced - Students should be experienced cantering over small cross rails and small verticals.
